CELESOIRÉE 2011
Thanks to all who joined ILAP
at our 7th
annual Cele Soirée: Celebrating Immigration through the Arts event, an evening of fun and fundraising to benefit ILAP's work for Maine's immigrants!
This year's event was our best ever, as over 600 people helped us mark ILAP's 10th anniversary and raise nearly $50,000 to support ILAP's critically needed legal services while enjoying a fabulous gallery space, INTERNATIONAL CUISINE from many of greater Portland's wonderful restaurants, LIVE African drumming by Jordan Benissan and Flamenco rhythms and dance of Olas, and both a LIVE and SILENT AUCTION, with photographs, paintings, fiber arts, jewelry and more, donated by over 90 Maine artists and businesses.
