Get involved with us by volunteering. We have many opportunities for our volunteers to gain experience and build skills while helping Maine’s immigrant community. If you’re interested in volunteering please contact us. Volunteer opportunities range from those with client contact, to clerical or development or database tasks, to helping with fundraising efforts, including mailings or our CeleSoirée event. Pro Bono Panel
ILAP has over 50 lawyers on its Pro bono Panel. The Pro bono Panel handles asylum cases, certain defensive matters such as asylum or residency applications for those in removal proceedings, as well as certain complicated family reunification cases. ILAP's pro bono attorneys carry as much as 20% of ILAP's full representation client caseload and donate thousands of hours of their time each year to ILAP’s clients.
